The Blackberry Curve 8320 came into our hands as the
Curve 8300 in June 07. This proved to be one of the most popular smart phones around at the time. Now however T Mobile moves one step further with the latest Curve 8320. This killer Blackberry uses UMA for calling over Wi-Fi networks and you can use simply Wi-Fi technology. The Blackberry Curve 8320 can be compared to other models like the entire Curve series and even the
8310 and the 8300.

Most of the phones in the Blackberry Curve family share similar features and it’s no different to the Curve 8320. It’s not only the features but the design as well. The QWERTY keyboard is a great and common feature in the Curve family and given its size the mobile itself is a little wider than usual other mobiles like the
N95 or the
Nokia 6300 for that matter. However, even with all the technology it manages a slim design of around 15mm. It’s simply a lovely phone to even hold and the colour and the size makes it all perfect for a business phone.
The keyboard in this devise is a pleasure to handle and differs slightly from 8310. It is an impressive improvement on the part of
Blackberry. The convenient design makes it easier when sending emails and even texts. You cannot wait without typing and you know it if you have already tried this product. With the rest of the phone, there is a 2 megapixel camera that performs quite well but you cannot expect a great deal like in other phones say the
iPhone. There is a trackball for navigation and a small media player to support your media files.
Most catchy feature in the phone is its connectivity. The 8320 sports a WLAN connection and this allows you to access the internet from any wireless network point. You can easily browse through your mails at any access point and even from the office network. This is a big success for the Blackberry since its other models does not have this feature built in.
The overall picture with this phone is not that bad given all the features and the good looks it is a must have for all office goers. Although Blackberry is thought to be office phones, with this new Curve 8320 other users will most likely join the Blackberry family. This is a phone that can connect to any wireless network with ease and browse through the web at no extra cost. You can say that Blackberry did it again with a lovely phone design and it will surely attract others outside its market scope with this Curve 8320.
