Look and Feel
Weighing a mere 115g does not stop the LG BL20 Chocolate being a heavyweight contender in the mobile phone market. Its black frame and red slider keyboard make it a stylish phone and aesthetically pleasing. Longer and broader than its predecessor, the
LG KG800 Chocolate mobile, it is slimmer and feels comfortable to hold in one hand, even with the slider open.
The touch-sensitive buttons below the screen are user-friendly and easy to navigate. There are also touch-sensitive buttons on the side of the LG BL20 Chocolate which offer discreet control of the volume, camera zoom etc. Simply open the slider to reveal the main keyboard. The buttons on the keyboard are spacious and easy to use, and light up red when pressed.
The technology within the LG BL20 Chocolate is as impressive as its design. It is a 3G phone and offers Bluetooth 2.1 as well as support for high-speed downloads and transfer of data. You can download tracks onto the phone with the music player and manage the files effortlessly, sorting them according to genre, bands, songs, albums etc.
You can send and store high-quality photos on the phone also, thanks to its 5 megapixel inbuilt camera. The camera is advanced and features autofocus, digital zoom and an LED flash. With the LG BL20 Chocolate, you need never miss a good photo opportunity again, no matter where you are.
You can customise the look on the on-screen menu with the Widget Hotkeys on the LG BL20 Chocolate which provide direct access to various features including Alarm, Memo, Weather and News. You can choose which four favourite Hotkeys to use. You can also manage your contacts according to your personal preferences, with picture ID, ring ID, and the option to have lots of numbers per contact.
Special features
The LG BL20 Chocolate comes with Clear Memo Capture, a feature not seen on earlier LG Chocolate phones like the
LG BL40 or
LG KG800. Clear Memo Capture offers versatility to mobile communication. You can simply scan text or drawings on to the phone and either store it for future use or forward it via text message and email. It is great feature if you want to send a personal, handwritten note; forward a funny drawing to a friend; or store a sketched map on your phone for a future business meeting.
