The KC910i Renoir, recently displayed MWC event, builds on the success of the original KC910 Renoir giving it a facelift and fine tweak in all the right places. One of the best camera phones on the market now possesses a sleek black design to house the fantastic 8MP powerhouse of a camera. The original phones manual lens cover has been replaced with an automatic one making the phone slightly thicker but the entire lens is now completely contained within the handset.
There will be no more frustrations with image cropping experienced with the original model, the image shown in the view finder is now the image captured whilst retaining all the smart features of the original. The KC910i has also had Microsoft Exchange sync installed improving its standing at the business end of the market allowing users to receive emails, calendar appointments, contacts etc anywhere anytime.

Overall, an excellent improvement on the original Renoir. Although the touchscreen still isn´t quite on the same level as the iPhone and Pixon, it still does the job with resistive technology allowing any object to be used to navigate through menus. The Viewty´s successor, with its new sleek design is still one of the best camera phones on the market to date and with the improvements made to the software and the addition of the synchronisation tools puts it up there with the Samsung Pixon, Innov8 and Sony Ericsson C905.
