The Nokia 5000 is one of the 2G phones that were released in mid 2008. The phone is light weighing only 74g making it one of the lightest phones in the market. The 2 inch TFT display allows up to 65K colors at a 240 x 320 pixel resolution. The phone has an internal memory of 12 MB which cannot be expanded. The phone has a good range of connectivity options such as class 10 GPRS, class 6 EDGE as well as Bluetooth version 2.0. This allows data to be both downloaded and transferred easily. The phone has a camera with a 1.3 MP resolution that can be used to capture photos with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. This can record videos as well. The phone also has other features such as FM radio and a media player. The phone was released in 3 colors-green, blue and purple.
