Details
As you can see above, this is one of the most advanced camera´s ever seen on a phone. In fact, at time of release, there is no phone with as many megapixels as the Pixon 12, so if you want to stay ahead of the pack, this could well be the phone for you.
But it´s not just the megapixels that impress on this thing. There´s some cracking other features that combine together to give you some of the easiest, most intuitive phone photography you´ve ever come across. Starting with a dedicated camera button that takes you to shooting in an instant, you then have such options as tap-to-touch (letting you choose your own focal point with the tap of a finger), subject locking (meaning even if something moves, the camera will still stay focused on it), a smart auto mode (meaning even as conditions change, your camera knows the ideal settings to take the perfect picture) and a powerful Xenon flash. Samsung have also included some great functions to take advantage of the onboard HSDPA and Wifi, allowing super quick uploading to Facebook, Flickr, or wherever else you want to share your shots.
Not only this, but as with many recent Samsung phones, this is also a great phone in its own right. With fantastic 3G and WiFi connectivity, Samsung´s own touchscreen-specific TouchWiz interface, a 3.5mm jack for your favourite headphones and a whole heap of other cool things going on, you don´t need to just consider the camera when looking for reasons to choose the Pixon 12.
Overall
If you find yourself using your current phones camera function more often than most, or you just want to upgrade your current cameraphone, this could be the right choice for you. But, with the Pixon 12, there´s also another option to consider: replacing not just your current phone but your current camera too. This may not take pictures as well as dedicated camera´s with similar numbers of megapixels, but if your standalone camera is still down in the 6-8MP level, you could well find this phone takes far better pictures than it.
